After being dropped by Reprise, Vonda signed with the independent label Vesperalley Records and released 'The Radical Light' in 1992.
This album features the original recording of 'Searchin' My Soul' -- the song that has come to be known as the 'Ally McBeal' theme song.
Another song on this album, '100 Tears Away' was the title of an 'Ally McBeal' episode (true 'Ally McBeal' fans will remember it as the 'Pringles' episode from the first season in 1997).
