The Boxer Rebellion self-released UNION digitally while still in day jobs. By the end of 2009, iTunes hailed Union their 'Alternative Album of the Year.'
In an unprecedented move, The Boxer Rebellion are taking the 'new-radio' of film and TV syncs to another level altogether, by performing 2 tracks from UNION live in a major motion picture. Opening nationally this summer in 3,500 screens 'Going the Distance' stars Drew Barrymore, Justin Long, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis, and Christina Applegate, and will put The Boxer Rebellion in front of millions of moviegoers throughout the United States and the world.
Hailed by music blogs and industry pundits as a band spearheading a wholly independent and innovative approach to releasing records, The Boxer Rebellion will be appearing live across the US from mid- September in support of the Union album.
